Armando Méndez C.

Armando is a certified professional geologist with more than 38 years of international experience in the oil and gas industry in a variety of geological settings in various continents
He has a thorough understanding of the full cycle oil and gas subsurface activities from exploration through appraisal and development to ultimate resource recovery both onshore and offshore including unconventional hydrocarbons
He has successfully participated in the exploration, appraisal and development of significant O&G discoveries in Colombia, North Sea, Western Canada and Mackenzie Delta worth about 5 billion barrels of oil equivalent
Involved with investments in the order of $10bn and production operations up to 500,000 boepd
His work experience includes early jobs at Hocol, Repsol, and Petrobras, that eventually led to a long career at BP

Trond Mathisen
EVP Planning & Development
Trond is an oil and gas executive with a diverse background and about 25 years pf experience having lived and worked in multiple continents and countries. He has worked both conventional and unconvential assets, onshore and offshore fields (including deepwater) across multiple functions within both technical, supervisory and management roles with a supermajor, an independent E&P and in consulting roles.
He has a strong background and understanding of the full cycle of the various oil and gas business activities from planning through exploration, appraisal, development and production. He has worked assets in North and South America, West & East Africa, Europe, the Caspian Area and select areas of Asia and the Middle East. He has advised both supermajors and independent E&Ps, investment banks as well as private equity firms on their energy investments globally.
He has worked in multiple functions such as business planning, strategy, BD, A&D, field development/portfolio management, reserves, reservoir/production, drilling and completions.
He has experience doing a full range of reservoir and production engineering analysis, including reserve reports, fair market value determinations, resources estimations, economic evaluations and property/company evaluations for mergers, acquisitions, and divestments, as well as reporting to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Toronto TSX exchange (CIM/COGEN reports).
He is also a certified professional engineer.
